David Bellamy Gold Awards for Garth (and Plas Dolguog)

It’s always good to get feedback and even better when it comes with an award.

We are proud to have won the prestigious DAVID BELLAMY GOLD AWARD every year since 1997! and would like to thank the David Bellamy Conservation Award Scheme for their kind words.

We are also very pleased with the added accolade of being a “Honey Bee Friendly” park – Heres what David Bellamy said:

“Congratulations, you have been awarded a Gold David Bellamy Conservation Award for 2016/17.
This is a great achievement and you should be very proud of the work you and your team have done for Britain’s wildlife and the environment.
I am delighted to see that your park continues to “fits seamlessly into the local landscape”. I am also really impressed by the work you have done to increase the number of solar panels you have in place. In addition, well done on all the hard work you have done to help Britain’s bees – you are officially a “Honey Bee Friendly” park.”

Plas Dolguog (and Grandmas Garden) has also received the Gold award and some very high praise:

” Having read through your report, I am amazed at the fact that you have managed to move forward in two areas where you have always led the way – renewable energy and wildlife-friendly planting. Absolutely amazing! I can’t wait to see pictures of your planned bottle wall. In addition, well done on all the hard work you have done to help Britain’s bees – you are officially a “Honey Bee Friendly” park.”
