Gas Safety / Service Certificate: Leisure Industry (ASSC)
As you are aware your Park Contract states you are responsible for the Gas Safety / Service of supply in your caravan.
Under your Park Contract you are required to keep the Certificate up to date, renewed annually.
Should you fail to ensure this is conducted, without any interruptions in cover, you would be in breach of your Park Contract, your own Insurance, but also our Holiday Park License and Park Insurance.
You are free to source your own Qualified & Registered Gas Engineer, from those listed on the Gas Safe Register.
However, before any work can be conducted, your Contractor MUST first attend the Park Office with evidence of his/her current Public Liability Insurance Document and Evidence of their Registration as a Gas Safe Engineer, pertaining to Caravans / Leisure Homes. Alternatively, they can email them to us at : info@garthholidaypark.co.uk
Your Contractor will need to provide the Park Copy of the Certificate to the office, upon completion.
Below is a list of five local Gas Contractors, all of whom are currently Registered as a Gas Safe Engineer and currently hold up to date Public Liability Insurance. Most have already worked on Park at some time and are aware of the layout and operation here.

Under no circumstances should any Contractor remove or change the external positioning of the Gas Supply without prior discussion with the owner, Edward.
Disclaimer: We are advised by each Contactor they will maintain their required Qualifications, Registrations and Public Liability Insurance. We will ask them to provide us with any renewals.
If you do not contact us beforehand, and a contractor arrives requesting your key and provides us with your name and plot number we will assume you have therefore given permission for your key to be handed to that contractor. We will not accept responsibility for any loss or damage as a result.
We do not accept any liability for any work / damage / behaviour of any contractor.
